Choke cable replacement--HELP!
Written by pjbt2 on 9/7/2009 at 06:54 pm

Well...I pulled back the small 90 deg. boots and noticed the nuts (holding the
needles & springs in) and figured it out. It only took a few mins. to R&R the
cable after that. Still idling/running rough though. I haven't ridden it much
over the last 4 yrs. since I picked up the GL so I have a few more things to
check out, clean, & possibly change.... I had a spare air filter so I changed
that out while I was at it too.

can't seem to remove the old cable. The two cable ends seem to be attached
inside the carb and don't want to force them out. Plus, how do the new ones
attach??
