Fuel Filter replacement
Written by mtdutchpop on 4/7/2010 at 09:57 pm

I did my 90 last summer right after I bought it as it was leaking. Stopped at a
Honda dealer in Mobridge, SD. He popped the trunk and lifted the pump off with
its strap off the flat verticle rod and the filter kinda comes along with it.
He didn't have a filter in stock so I finished the ride (600 miles more)

I did it myself without removing any panels through the space there. I did
spill fuel and recommend a low tank. I also ended up buying an OEM hose between
the pump and filter as it wouldn't seal up any more.

Mechanic at the Honda estimated 15 minutes. Took me longer getting all the hose
and clamps and filter right...but I didn't need to take any Tupper off.
