Fuel Filter replacement
Written by douglasvanb on 4/23/2010 at 04:38 pm

Which filter did you use? The Hondaline part or a generic Goldwing filter?

I had a similar performance boost last week when I properly inflated my tires.
Just a couple PSI or a fuel filter can make a big difference.

Also, FWIW, I would suspect that fuel filters needing to be replaced or not is a
true bike-to-bike issue. I bet it depends on the gas that's been put through
the filter, any corrosion that's happened in the tank, junk and detritus that
made its way into the fuel lines, how the bike has been ridden and where it's
lived, if the bike has sat for extended periods of time, etc... Hence why some
people have found absolutely no need to replace their filters and others have
found that it turns their bikes into crotch rockets. My $0.02 anyway.

replacement NOW & do this. I'm going to cobble together a video to share with
everyone (since I didn't film the actual change yesterday).

experienced in 98 when he bought this bike.

the suspension working on my bike, and the other finer points of the bike that
I've never really felt.
