Brand name of top box mounting equiptment
Written by mikeyb_houtex on 4/27/2010 at 02:11 am

The names are:

Givi SR10 (out of production)

Dan Birrell (sp?) rack (Out of production, or he's just not making any more.)

Hondaline backrest (out of production) with a home made rack (figure it out
yourself type thing)

Reid Rack... I don't know about this much honestly, but I think you can just buy
them... but they also require the Hondaline Backrest.

Your own design. I'm making my own soon, for example, and it's gonna be a
*looker* when I'm done.

The thing is, there wasn't enough demand for a lot of racks to be sold, so Givi
got out of the business. Others have figured out ways to make racks one way or
another.

If you find one, they're pricy. The last Givi SR10 on Ebay went for, I think,
$350 + shipping? I don't exactly remember. The backrest is similar. People
snap them up, and don't mind payin' for them.

That's the scoop. Hope that helps.
