...horn upgrade suggestions?
Written by pgboyd on 4/28/2010 at 10:35 am

It's funny how different your perspective can be. I have a Kawasaki police bike
also and the first time I hit the horn on the PC I was amazed at how loud it was
in comparison! I guess on the police bikes if you needed the horn you just
blipped the siren.

I only hit my horn by mistake anyway - occasionally when my thumb is trying to
find the turn signal. Usually at 5 in the morning when I'm getting ready to
leave. I've seen people put airhorns on their bikes and I just wonder why
bother. If you have time to hit your horn, you have time to get out of the way.
You did the right thing by backing off. Sometimes hitting the horn just causes
more problems than it's worth in my opinion.
