...horn upgrade suggestions?
Written by attitudehats on 4/30/2010 at 04:48 am

Many thanks to everyone!

...as to the stebel compact hhorn...how tight a fit is this horn in the old
space?...you do any tricks to get it in there? ...do I have to run that horn off
the battery, or can I attach those wires to the aux plug?...I'm already running
the '+' hotwire mod from the R/R to the battery terminal, and I don't want to
screw things up since I got things finally running right ;-)

or links there is a description of how to do it and the part number to order (or
maybe that was a recent post here...)

and install it either in parallel or as the only horn for your bike. There is a
PDF in the files section with a good install guide.

came along just as I was cleaning up my tools. One of the guys that lives in my
house asked me what I was doing. I told him to push the horn button to find
out. He nearly jumped out of his skin when that little air horn sounded. I
suppose that prank is a modification on the age-old "pull my finger" prank.

will get as much attention as the more complex (you have to run a few wires and
such. Not that hard if I can do it though!) and very LOUD Stebel option.
