Coolant hose behind the engine - any way to replace it without remov
Written by dndgentili on 5/9/2010 at 06:35 pm

Yes, I do.

1) Make sure the plastic piece that partially covers the hose is removed. This
plastic also covers hose A (#4).
2) Heat the hose with hot water.
3) Put Vaseline on both metal 'tits'.
4) Spend an hour 'bonding' with the left side and coolant system of your PC
while getting it on. It took me two days of trying as my fingers just couldn't
keep up the rigors of the evolution for more that 20 minutes, at a time.

By the end, my fingers were so sore after getting that hose on that I had to
verbally abuse the hose, the engineers that designed it, and Mother Honda (in
general) rather than giving it the finger.........

Have fun,
VA Dan

from the frame? It's the only coolant hose that I can't figure out how to
reach.
