Coolant hose behind the engine - any way to replace it without remov
Written by douglasvanb on 5/9/2010 at 10:12 pm

That's what I was afraid of...

I decided to take the following approach:

1) Buy Hose B
2) Give currently installed Hose B a good talking to and show it that it can be
replaced
3) Put new Hose B in spare parts kit in the trunk to serve as a warning to the
installed Hose B
4) Hope that the installed Hose B never catches on that I never want to have to
replace it.

This plastic also covers hose A (#4).

while getting it on. It took me two days of trying as my fingers just couldn't
keep up the rigors of the evolution for more that 20 minutes, at a time.

verbally abuse the hose, the engineers that designed it, and Mother Honda (in
general) rather than giving it the finger.........

from the frame? It's the only coolant hose that I can't figure out how to
reach.
