GD = Garage Door. I hacked my key-chain remote for my garage door opener so I
could mount a switch on the handle bar to actuate it. I chose the right handle
bar above the starter switch. I had to use a cheap radio shack switch which I
plan on replacing once I find a better quality switch. The remote was easy to
hack but it does require some delicate soldering. The in-line connectors helped
get the switch wired & installed without having to do any soldering while it was
on the bike. Now there will be no fumbling with the key chain remote. Just drive
up, hit the switch and drive right in. Pictures added at
