PC800 89 - fuel float adjustment.
Written by rwven6956 on 5/13/2010 at 12:11 pm

When I adjusted mine I completely drained the fuel tank and removed the fuel
level sensor. Then I measured and poured in 1/2 gallon of fuel. I then slightly
bent the float arm "downward" and reinstalled the sensor using only two
fasteners just barely snugged up. Turn on the ignition and note the fuel guage
needle position. I repeated this until the needle was just at the top of the red
marking on the guage. When the needle hit the red mark I had 1/2 gallon of fuel
remaining.

I was wondering if someone knew how to adjust the fuel float so I can get a more
accurate reading on my trips.
