Karen - The "Trunk Lift" can be bought at Pep Boys.
Look at the lifts for back windows (a "hanging" rack)somewhere
in the store.

The item number is GG315011. I got mine here in Florida (Hollywood) and was
about $17.00 and have had it on for 2 years with no problems.

Best of luck and safe riding... watch out for WSMR "loose" rockets and
the aliens in Roswell - been to both!!!

    Karen, The trunk strut can be replaced for about $15 with one from McMaster-Carr. This is a link to some info in the files section:

      I am not sure what I am doing wrong... But for the life of me I cannot get to most of the links that are posted on this site. I "almost always" get 'Document not found' when I click on a link (the one below is a perfect example)
