The answering overnight thing is due to the globe's rotation. We still like the
bomb statement.

Do leave the foot-peg just as it is. The glove-box is much more fit for a
switch, or two, in the future. My plug for 12 Volt is made in the front of the
right trunk. The Pacific Coast has an accessory plug already build in (not
always realized), close to and above the Battery. Almost no wire needed (a few
inches) and to be connected with ordinary cable-shoes. No parts have to be
removed for anything there. Motor riders use the 24 Volt plugs because they fit
tighter then the 12 Volt cigarette lighter model from cars. Plugs are a little
harder to get. I keep a -from small to big- cable ready. Choose the -always on-
option and you may connect the charger there also. When in the trunk, a light
would be easy to connect also. Some people connect a 12 Volt truck lock in this
place that is rather big. This theft device is not always needed I suppose but
in that case perhaps they want the same place.

Only thing is: I had someone else do it for me with other repairs and still want
to know what connections of the accessory plug to use. In the garage, ones
pointed to the plug above the battery and close to the trunk, they can trace
which ones to use or study the color of the cables. Do ask for a fuse in the
cable in case of abuse. Have fun riding and learning. Alfred

Why? We've had record 108-110 degrees and I'm still riding! The only thing I'm a
mite concerned about is when in city (such as Roswell is "city") traffic, the
heat gauge goes up ALMOST to the red line. (Not quite, it doesn't tough it, but
comes close.)
