Rear Turn Signal Removal
Written by ascterransin on 6/19/2010 at 04:19 am

It's on page 2-22 of the [online] service manual. Just unscrew the top boAllen
bolt and then wiggle it out noting where the boss (rubber sleeved pin) on the
bottom & towards inboard needs to slip out to free the housing.

While I'm on the subject, I've been meaning to upload still more reference
photos. This time its the rear running light mod that a previous owner had added
to the turn signals so the entire rear end is lit up at night. For years I had
always assumed everybody's PC was this way until I mentioned to somebody on a
group ride that their running lights weren't working. Duh! Talk about taking
something for granted.

is probably the most basic advice. I have to change a signal light bulb. How
does the rear turn signal housing come out? I removed the center (tail light)
section and the screw holding the top of the housing unit. The unit is loose,
but I can't seem to get clearance to remove it. I'm not ready to put a prybar on
it yet (for obvious reasons). Am I missing something here?
