Front fender issue
Written by mkjeep2000 on 6/22/2010 at 02:34 am

Ron and I are in Colorado now. Bunburnered (1000 miles) on Saturday from Philly
to Des Moines. Perfect weather on nearly the longest day of the year. About the
last 700 miles Sunday to Denver. My sis had lots of food and beer ready for our
arrival. Ran up Pikes Peak today. Met an avid ADVRider up there full of great
recommendations. Tried a couple on my overloaded pc. Pretty cool. Tough to keep
up with Ron's Buell though on dirt. Were going to camp west of Canon City but a
forest fire has rt 50 closed just before Royal Gorge. Boooo. We'll post pics
next week.
Eldin and other ipcrcers have it REAL good! Colorado is absolutely gorgeous!
People are very friendly and are real outdoorsy. Great place to visit if you
haven't already!
More to come later

Better term is the rubber mud flap that screws into the bottom rear of the
fenders.

I also noticed that the tab on the right disc cover broke off. It locks on the
bracket just below the axle bracket.

I haven't tried eBay yet.

thanks.

plastic disc covers? If so, trash them and go coverless. I made some brackets
and got rid of the covers. Maybe Dick will sell you his if he didn't use them? I
like the looks better with the disc brakes showing. Pics of my bike without
covers is in the Photos section under bike hauler. I was looking at my buddies
ST1100 and I think that front fender might fit? In fact I think the entire front
end off of a ST1100 would fit on the PC. Ebay anyone?
