Non Honda Oil FIlters
Written by goldwingman40 on 6/30/2010 at 03:31 pm

Ronald and Others,

Here is some comparison work done a few years ago:

http://www.tobycreek.org/oil_filters/index.shtml

http://www.tobycreek.org/oil_filters/honda.shtml

Some of the cut open filters show how cheap they are made.

not manufacture oil filters, they buy them from an oil filter manufacturer. I
have yet to hear of a PC's engine having any problem linked to an aftermarket
oil filter. I understand the emotional appeal of using only "Honda" products,
but there is no data to back the assumption that to do otherwise is in any way
compromising the integrity of your motorcycle.
