Front Fender Mod-ST1100

Mike,

Thanks for posting this and the pics too.

I am in the process of trying this, but the parts have not yet come in. I think
mine will be a bit more involved as I am modifying the forks (or I think I'm
going to mod the forks...). I will post how this goes once all the parts are
in.

As for your set up, 2 comments/questions. One, the fender is more open on the
front vs rear. Did you look into trying to rotate the fender a bit to close the
front gap? The ST-1100 fender is ment for a 18" wheel, we have a 17" wheel, so
there will be some increased gap in the fender. I am looking to balance the gap
if possible. Second, the braces holding the fender. Have you looked into
mounting them on the inside of the fender? If you paint the fork lower black
like the ST-1100 have, you can paint your braces and they will nnot stand out as
much.

Nice effort. Let us know how they fare after a blast down the highway, say at
90MPH.
