Throttle locks ?
Written by goldwingman40 on 7/14/2010 at 03:33 pm

Orrin,
The bars on the PC are 7/8" at the ends, they are only 1" at the center where
the clamps are.
If the slot for the tab is not cut in the correct location and with a slight
cnearance the unit can't float to canter itself on the throttle tube and will
bind the throttle. Also there is the screw to adjust the tension, do you have it
too tight?
Fred

my past motorcycles. I can't get the freakin thing onto the PC though. I
understand about either cutting a slot or drilling a hole to mount it, that
isn't the problem. It seems to be too tight. I guess I have the one for 7/8 bars
but they don't have one for 1" bars except the one with the bar across the
housing. With the single one I have, the throttle is too tight, it doesn't just
release and snap back and you can't even twist the throttle normally. I have
enough room between the housing and grip. I hope I made some sense.
