PC800 Featured on Killboys Highlights for this week
Written by shotcoy on 7/15/2010 at 10:19 pm

Fred: Yes, I suppose about half(or thereabouts) of the tread is on the ground.
Another yes for the Bridgestone Battlax rear on the front(mounted backwards). I
have added another picture to my photo album "PC800 Darksider". It is the same
picture lightened up for a better view of the rear tire(courtesy of
Willie-Thanks!!). You can barely make out a few sparks coming off the peg on
this one. I've got 13,000+ miles on the rear BFGoodrich TA radial and think I'll
get about that many more. The Bridgestone Battlax now has 11,000+ miles and is
also wearing quite well, but started to show signs of cupping about 2,000 miles
ago. I am thinking that I'll get another 5 or 6K out of it. That is a lot better
than the Dunlop front(worn out at 9,000) that it replaced. Enjoy fun & safe
riding!! Dave

Brigdestone rear on the front.

twisties, on my new tires. Had about 200 miles on them when I started. The Avon,
120/80-17, Roadrider front and Shinko 230, 140/90-15, felt good. I now will have
to see how the wear is and performance over time. I ride mostly the twisties
like we rode at Deal's Gap ride. I pull out of my drive and have simular roads.

with PC's. One from Alaska and the T-Shirt dude with trailer. Rich Fenwick also
made the front page. He's really sparking with the caption "No fuel leak I
hope".
