Trunk strut replacement from Autozone

thanks for the info everybody. i wasn't sure of what is supposed to be normal
for this. {newbie}

Trunk strut replacement from Autozone
Replaced my leaking trunk strut with Mighty Lift part #95957 from Autozone for $18.99. Length is exact. Might be a little strong but seemed to 'loosen up' now that I've opened and closed the trunk a few times.
