Thinking about going to the Dark Side1
Written by mlmiller1959 on 9/18/2010 at 05:31 pm

Having taken my PC down more than one dirt road, I don't think any tires will
solve the problem.? 640 pounds of MC off-road is way less than ideal.? Also not
being able to see the front wheel is a bummer for me.? On rough roads, the PC's
plastic rattles and shakes like nobody's business.? I don't think a lot of off
road is good for it.

BFGoodrich TA Radial P155/80R15? is what is consistently mentioned here. I am
thinking about the switching over off-season as well, but haven't done so yet,
so I can not speak from personal experience.

Never heard of someone switching specifically for the purpose of being
off-pavement, but I am sure lots will end up chiming in this thread.? Haven't
had a good Dark-side post for, ... ah ... at least a couple of days, maybe even
a week. Starting to go in withdrawal.
