I just put 4.221 gallons of gas in my PC!

In complete agreement with much that has already been written here, I always
take an extra minute or so at the gas pump, making sure that the gas tank of
whichever bike (or car) I'm riding/driving has been filled to the max, in spite
of the occasional ribbing I get from my riding friends.

If you've ever run out of gas in/on any sort of vehicle (been there in my youth,
done that more times than I'd care to admit, but not in the past 15 years or
so...), then you will do the same.

To paraphrase what Tim wrote, every extra drop of gasoline can result in a few
less feet to walk...
