Silicate free antifreeze: A necessity for long water pump life

Hi,

My first PC waterpump was eaten up by silicates (the seals). We
switched to silicate free and never looked back. The last couple of
antifreeze changes, I've gone to the Honda auto dealer, bought their
antifreeze and took it to my mechanic. It's silicate free for cars as well.

Works like a champ. No waterpump problems from it either.
