Progressive Springs, worth it?
Written by eegah_yai on 10/6/2010 at 01:52 pm

The instructions say to install them either way but that installing them with
the tighter wound end downward reduces noise. This is how they are installed in
my forks. Come to think of it, maybe next time I change the oil I'll flip them
over for an experiment.

your already going to remove the forks for your oil change, there isn't any

the front end more stable on tar snakes etc. on curves. The only problem I've
had with mine, and it seems I'm alone in this, is that mine squeak very loudly
when going over even small bumps, like old bed springs. I talked to Progressive
customer service about this, and they said it would probably go away. But it is
still there after 4-5 years.
