Progressive Springs, worth it?
Written by goldwingman40 on 10/6/2010 at 02:55 pm

Jerry,
Install them like they say in the instructions and unless you weigh 300 pounds
you will not have any problems. They will not bottom out on anything stort of
riding off a cliff. Use 10 wt. fork oil.

what you weigh).

and eliminate it bottoming. I have had them I my 89 PC since I got it in 94. I
also had them in my 85 GL1200 and have them in my 92 GL1500. The only other
thing that helps the frontend stability is the installation of tapered roller
steering head bearings in place of the ball bearings.
