Doing the hotwire mod and have a question
Written by goldwingman40 on 10/18/2010 at 11:38 pm

NO!!!!! That is why we need to use the hot wire mod. All the plugs and
connectors have voltage losses. You need a good solder connection to eliminate
the problem of connections oxidizing and increasing resistance which cause a
voltage loss and heating the connection which also increases the resistance and
voltage loss. That is why you find melted connectors.

from the plug. Does the plastic plug split somehow or do I have to force the
terminals from the opposite and wiggle them out? Mark
