More mods - wind defection for feet

Would this serve the same purpose as the Baker Build Air Wings?
http://www.bakerbuilt.com/bbairwings/stpcaw.html I vaguely remember last winter
people talking about them solving the pants puffing problem. Although I might
be getting that confused with the leg hair burning problem of the summer
months...
