Joe,
How did you determin that the battery is fully charged? If you measured the
voltage with the ignition off then it might not be accurate. Measure the voltage
with the ignition switch off and then turn it on and see what it does. If you
have a broken inner cell connector you will read good voltage with no load but
when you turn on the ignition switch the voltage will go to almost zero. I had
this happen to me this spring. With the switch off it read 12.8 volts but when I
turned on the ignition switch it went to 0.25 volts. It faked me out because I
checked the no load voltage which looked OK and then spent about 2 hours
checking everything else and found nothing. I then did the above and found the
bad battery so either do that check or pull the battery and have it load
checked.
